Global warming is when the temperature of the Earths atmosphere goes up for a long time. This can cause serious problems for the land and its inhabitants. The main cause of global warming is the release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere. These feasts trap the sun's heat and increase the Earth's surface temperature.
